JULIA RESTOIN ROITFELD X IRIS AND INK FOR THE OUTNET
A 6 PIECES CAPSULE COLLECTION DESIGNED BY JULIA RESTOIN ROITFELD
FOR WOMENSWEAR BRAND IRIS AND INK BY THE OUTNET
A COLLECTION OF 5 PERFECT LITTLE BLACK DRESSES AND A JUMPSUIT, TO ADD TO YOUR EVENING ESSENTIALS
“This project really embraces two great passions of mine, style and design. I was honored to have been asked by THE OUTNET to collaborate on this very special collection for Iris & Ink. I have always had a vision of creating a collection of dream pieces that are inspired by my everyday closet and those that I could wear forever.
This collection was created in mind for the modern woman. Someone who wants to look good and dress up but also feel comfortable and enjoy good quality; something that I know resonates with the Iris & Ink customer. Whilst each of the six pieces has their own personality, they are a reflection of me and my ‘everyday uniform’. I hope a lot of women can recognize themselves in this collection.”

THE COLLECTION
The exclusive capsule, the first collaboration of its type for Iris & Ink, consists of six limited-edition styles. A collaborative effort, each piece has been carefully designed by Julia and Iris & Ink .
The specifically curated edit includes five little black dresses – a sexy silk slip, a cocktail mini dress, a leather long-sleeved dress, a tuxedo blazer dress and a full-length velvet gown – alongside a contemporary tailored jumpsuit. The capsule collection taps Julia’s signature style; a mix of sensual femme fatale and that ineffable French nonchalance, there is both an effortlessness and elegance at play.
With its all-black palette, the collection is rendered in luxurious fabrications of silk, velvet and lace, with each piece speaking to a moment in time for Julia, reflecting her modern global lifestyle.
Each pieces are named after someone important in Julia’s Life, The Carine (the long silk slip dress), The Romy (The Velvet Gown), The Nicole - Julia’s Grandmother (The Leather Dress), The Minnie (a perfect LBD with a bow, inspired by Julia’s childhood Style Icon, Minnie Mouse) and the “MIckey” (The Tuxedo Jumpsuit - inspired by Julia’s other childhood icon and MInnies other half, Mickey Mouse)
